Sara’s Experience Up to 8th Day of Tonsillectomy Recovery
I’m on day 8 after my Tonsillectomy. I guess I am one of the lucky ones so far. I’ve had very little pain and just a small amount of bleeding and that is what I wanted to tell people is my bleeding story.
Day 7 I was on my way back from the store and noticed a little bit of blood on the left side of my throat of course I got nervous, well when I got home I flushed it out with cold water and it stopped. I then noticed that the left side wasn’t as smooth as the right side and then I also noticed a small hole on the top back of my throat. Of course I was worried again but about what was on my throat and why the hole. I watched it closely thru the evening and the hole began to get bigger but no blood.
When I woke up today ( Day 8 ) well whatever was on the left side had come off, I’m thinking that it could have been food got stuck to the side and had been there for a few days. Today both sides of my throat look smooth and pinkish in color. I know I’m not out of the woods yet. I pray for a quick recovery to all..
