So glad to find pictures of what I’m seeing in my own throat, especially the inflamed uvula. I’m at about 56 hours post-op now and can see that I’ve got a good 10 days to 2 weeks of weirdness ahead. My tonsils were huge and the hole left is impressive. I’m wondering if the white scarring freaks everyone out…and why more doctors don’t talk about it with patients.
