Tonsillectomy Recovery Scabs and Healing
One of the most common questions I get from patients recovering from tonsillectomy surgery is, “are these scabs normal?” Everyone’s recovery is unique and not all throats look the same as people recovery. White, grey, or green colored scabs are normal. Gradually, these scabs will fall off as the throat heals from tonsil surgery. Here’s one example of what these scabs can look like.
