For me, it was 11 days before I felt up to a full day of work. Mine is a desk job, but I have to talk a lot. .

Hello. I am 45 years old and will have my tonsils out on august 13th. I am scared to death…not about the pain but recovery time with work. They will let me be off the first week but I am so worried I will be unable to go back to work the following Monday.
I have a high threshhold for pain and gladly have this procedure to end the constant throat and tonsil infections. Can you tell me a bit about your recovery as far as being able to go back to work.
